Manufacturing – Entry Level General Laborer

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for washing and preparing parts for painting, material handling (unstacking, sorting, hanging and moving parts), grinding, deburring.  This is an entry level position to prove work ethic and chance to move into a more skilled position in fabrication, machine shop or assembly.  The ideal candidate for this position possesses good mechanical aptitude, enthusiasm, and is motivated to get the job done in a fast paced environment.  As an entry level position this individual will work closely with a team leader on their assigned project.  PAI emphasizes and coaches a Team approach to problem solving throughout the organization.

Daily activities will involve:
– Washing and preparing parts for painting
– Material handling (unstacking, sorting, hanging and moving parts)
– Grinding and deburring

Basic Requirements:
– Mechanical aptitude
– Adaptable to fast paced environment
– Must be able to read a tape measure
– Ability to follow instructions
– Ability to work independent or as a team
– Capable of using hand and power tools
– Able to be on your feet, bend, or occasionally climb short ladder for a minimum of 8 hours a day
– Able to lift / move 50 lbs.
– Willing to work minimum of 40 hours

Preferred Experience:
– Ability to read blue prints
– Previous experience in conveyor industry

Salary Range will be dependent on applicants experience.
