Position:

Manufacturing – Entry Level Mechanical Assembly

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the assembly of conveyor and related mechanical equipment.  The ideal candidate for this position possesses good mechanical aptitude, enthusiasm, and is motivated to get the job done in a fast paced environment.  As an entry level position this individual will work closely with a team leader on their assigned project.  PAI emphasizes and coaches a Team approach to problem solving throughout the organization.

Daily activities will involve:
– Assembly of conveyor and related equipment

Basic Requirements:
– Mechanical aptitude
– Adaptable to fast paced environment
– Must be able to read a tape measure
– Ability to follow instructions
– Ability to work independent or as a team
– Capable of using hand and power tools
– Able to be on your feet, bend, or occasionally climb short ladder for a minimum of 8 hours a day
– Able to lift / move 50 lbs.
– Willing to work minimum of 40 hours

Preferred Experience:
– Ability to read blue prints
– Previous experience in conveyor industry

Note:
Pack Air offers a “loaner” tool kit at no charge to get started in your Assembly career.  Assemblers are expected to provide their own tools long term.

Salary Range will be dependent on applicants experience.
